  1. Checker Print- Over the last few months, classic checker print has been making a huge comeback. Not just in black and white either- in all colors! This fall, checker print is a top trend, and is being put on everything, from sweatshirts to hats. One of the most popular checker print items right now is the classic Vans black and white checkerboard slip ons. This popular shoe has been seen on Kristen Stewart and North West.

  1. Fur- Whether it’s faux or real, fur is a major trend for fall this year. Every year, neutral colored furs are in style for fall. This year’s trend though is a bit of a twist, and now colorful furs are in the spotlight. Colorful furs have been seen on the runway by many designer brands, one of them being Fendi.

  1. Red- Not only are certain patterns on trend for this fall, but so are colors! Red has been seen all over this season, whether it be red dresses, or red jeans. One of the most popular red items right now is red boots, as seen on models such as Kendall Jenner and Stella Maxwell. From Forever21 to Fendi, many designers and stores have been releasing red boots for this season.

  1. Jewels- This fall, the shiniest and most bold trend is definitely jewels. Large jeweled earrings with crystals and pearls have been seen on many models during fashion week. Dresses with jeweled buttons and beaded gowns have been sold at all kinds of stores. The most popular item though has definitely been the jeweled handbag. Dolce and Gabbana’s newest collection features all kinds of bags that have different colors and styles of jewels.

  1. Floral Print- It’s safe to say floral print is big year round, but this fall, it is especially trendy. Most fall floral print consist of darker flowers on a darker base, that way it doesn’t look too summery. The most strong floral statement piece this year is definitely floral printed boots, which also were trendy last fall. Different versions of floral printed boots have been released from Topshop, Nordstrom, Gucci, and many others.
  2. Vintage- For the last few years, vintage looking clothing, accessories and shoes have been extremely popular. The vintage looking items that have primarily been popular have been 1990’s inspired. While the 1990’s look is still very popular, an even wider range of vintage is becoming popular this fall. Many designers have been using the 1960’s and 1970’s as inspiration. Chanel’s Fall 2017 collection really captures the look of the 1960’s, with its shift dresses and plaid patterns.
  3. Bell Sleeves- Out of all the trends, bell sleeves is definitely one of the most seen. Bell sleeves are very wearable and perfect for someone who is into something more simple. Forever21 and Topshop are just two examples of the many brands selling bell sleeve tops. Bell sleeves have been seen on numerous celebrities and models, including Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid.

  1. Mid-length Skirts- For many years, the miniskirt dominated fashion. Of course you would see the occasional maxi skirt here and there, but miniskirts were the most on trend. Now, midlength skirts are the hottest new item. Designers such as Dior and Gucci have released mid-length skirts in their Fall 2017 collections.
