Senior Caroline Chivily represented Verona High School at this year’s 29th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day awards ceremony. Caroline was recognized for both her outstanding academic achievements as well as her notable tennis and softball careers here at VHS. Over 140 other exceptional female student athletes were honored at the ceremony, which was held at Seton Hall University on February 1. Every high school in New Jersey can choose a female student athlete to be recognized. Caroline was joined by her parents, Phil and Christina Chivily, as well as VHS’ softball coach, Ms. Angela
